Message in a Bottle

I think the octopus is my favorite stamp in this set along with the saying "You octopi my thoughts." It makes me smile every time but I found this stamp set to be easily adaptable to make a card for a child or a masculine card (see "You float my boat"). The Naturally Eclectic designer series paper made the perfect partner to these stamps as you will see I often use it. I am a huge fan of blender pens so any coloring on the card was done with those, dabbed into various inks. Remember, archival inks must be used with blender pens so as not to blur your stamped images. The stitched shapes framelits where used after as well, but if you see an individual image cut out, that was fussy cut with paper snips (scissors) as there are no framelits to accompany this stamp set. As you can see from the card samples, thought, all images fit into the bottle which is perfect. This stamp set provides the foundation for bright cheery cards. Give it a go!
